Note: Open to all nationalities, you don’t have to be a US citizen to be eligible to win.

Registration Fee
USD 20 per player for a direct pass to the group stage brackets.
The player can register by paying the general admission fee on EventBrite.
The closing party will take place at BrookLAN after the finals and until closing.

Winner prize
💰The prize pool is 2,500 USD, split in the following way:
🥇 1st place: 1,500 USD
🥈 2nd place: 750 USD
🥉 3rd place: 250
The 1st place finisher will have a chance to earn*:
1️⃣ A trip to Dubai, all expenses paid 🛫
2️⃣A spot as one of the 24 teams competing for BIG cash prizes* in the International Qualifier of the 2025 Games Of The Future (GOF)
💡If the player ends in the Top 6 in the International Qualifiers, they earn another trip to Dubai, all expenses paid, to the main event of Games of The Future
💥The prize pool at the Games Of The Future is ~50k USD*.
*Notes: Prize pool estimate based on GOF24. Prize pools in the International Qualifier and GOF’s main event are yet to be announced. Note, the spot as one of the 24 teams at the GOF International Qualifiers and trip all expenses paid to Dubai are subject to the winner’s eligibility as per the World Phygital Community regulations on the ranking system in Phygital Sports –> Read more on the WPC webpage and download the ranking system regulations.
Game Rules
Teams of one: Individual athletes compete in a Just Dance Video Game Showdown!
1️⃣ Open Qualifiers: Dance to rack up points. We keep your best score. Only the best performers advance to the finals!
2️⃣ Group Stage and Finals: A head-to-head one-on-one face-off. Each match is a 3-song battle—the best performance wins! It’s all about rhythm, skill, and pure stage presence.
💥 Who Wins? Determined by the video game score, checked by a referee.

Athletes Required: One
(minimum age to compete: 16)
Staff: Optional for Phygital Games USA; up to 1 staff member allowed.
The winning player receives travel support for the Games of The Future as specified in the “Winner Prize” section of this page.

Tournament Format
Open qualifiers: The competition begins with an open qualifying round, where everyone can play! Players dance as many times as they want (maximum limit depending on time and event logistics), we take the best score from each player to determine the 32 players advancing to the GSL elimination group stage. The song for the open qualifiers will be “Move Your Body” by The Sunlight Shakers.
GSL Elimination: The “GSL without a 5th Match” format is a system of matches at the group stage, in which all group members play 2 matches in the following order:
1. In the 1st round, the group members are divided into pairs by draw;
2. The winners of each pair meet in the second round to play the match for the first and second place in the group, respectively the winner of this match takes 1st place in the group, while the loser takes 2nd place;
3. The teams that lost in the first round compete against each other in the second round in a match for 3rd and 4th place. The winner of this match takes 3rd place in the group, while the loser takes 4th place.
Progression: Teams ranked 1st in their groups advance directly to the knockout stage (quarterfinals if 16 teams are in the tournament, Octo finals if 32 teams are in the tournament) and teams ranked 4th get eliminated. The losers of the Winner’s Match play the winners of the Loser’s Match in a decisive match to determine progression.

Other considerations:
1. Turning on/off modifiers and game settings is prohibited.
2. Participants are forbidden from pausing their own track (song) or the track of another participant while performing to the track.
*Important note on the Technical Rules PDF: We identified a discrepancy in the PDF version of the technical rules published before Jan 6th, 2025, and the song list on social media and our web page. We have updated the PDF. If you used the PDF before Jan 6th, 2025 as a guide to training please note that “Move your body” is the song only for the Open qualifiers (if any), and that “We can’t be Friends” and “Party in the USA” are not part of the song list in the group stages. The rest of the song list is unchanged.
